It seems to me that if you are still running a 32 bit version of Sibelius that you should keep a machine that is not upgraded to High Sierra, or its immediate descendants. I have no idea whether anything can be made available to users of 7.1.3 or 7.5 so that playback will still work.

I would hope that there is at least an update in the works for Sib 8.x that will deal with this for future versions. My understanding is that no current version of Sibelius will work under High Sierra (at least for playback with Sibelius 7 sounds). There are apparently also issues with Sibelius 7 sounds not working in High Sierra if you convert the file system to APFS because of case sensitivity changes in handling file names. Hopefully, the audio problems will be fixed up and if there are serious compatibility issues, we will wait for the inevitable release of Sibelius 8.6.5 or 8.7, which might be later on in the year. It's now been confirmed that High Sierra, the latest operating system for macOS (10.13, to be exact), will be released on September 25.
